Краткая биография: Kenneth Tigar is a familiar face from film and television. His many acting credits include The West Wing; Lethal Weapon 2 and 3; Primal Fear; Family Law; Seventh Heaven; Star Trek: Voyager; and The X-Files. He has won a Los Angeles Drama Critics' Circle Award for his stage work and has appeared across the country in his one-man show I Must Be Mr. Boswell, about the biographer of Dr. Johnson.
Mr. Tigar has both a B.A and a Ph.D. from Harvard University in German Literature, and he spent a year at the University of Gottingen as a Fulbright scholar. He acted for a season in Vienna as a member of the Austrian company Die Komodianten; and his translations of Brecht, Wedekind, and Buchner have been performed from Boston to Los Angeles.
As a director, Mr. Tigar mounted the first American production of Durenmatt's The Visit based on the original German text. Other directing credits include A Doll's House, The Yeomen of the Guard, The Zoo Story, the world premiere of The Genius by Mitch Giannunzio, and a national tour of The Gin Game with Kim Hunter. He has taught acting and directing on the faculty of the University of Connecticut.
